Alice In Wonderland was a childhood favorite of mine as well as my good friend Leah. As adults I find we look back fondly on fairytale legends with an appreciation that we once did not have. I think Leah and I were looking for a creative outlet and stumbled upon an amazing opportunity. A publisher was looking for dark themed fairytale images for a piece and we were happy to oblige. This project was so much more than a simple personal project, it has become a burning passion for both of us. It was something we could build together. I am so grateful for this opportunity and much look forward to what this dark series has yet to breathe life into.
There is much to be said about a personal project. Being able to bring to life whatever your little heart desires opens so many doors of possibility. It allows me to show clients and fellow photographers that there is so much more to me than just the pretty light and airy look of my portrait sessions. Have you been wanting something a little different? Lets chat. Tell me what you have been dreaming about and we can create magic while moving mountains. I find so much joy in every kind of photography and I love to bring you all on my journey through this land of discovery with me. Want to collaborate with me? I would love to hear from you! Check out the blog to read about some of my adventures. From New Hampshire to North Carolina and everywhere in between.
The wonderful thing about Wonderland is that we can all be mad there. The possibilities are endless and it doesn’t have to make sense. So much of our time is spent trying to make sense out of nonsense. Wonderland is a place where you don’t have to care. Let’s all take a trip down the rabbit hole and see where this adventure into a Winter Wonderland will take us!
So if you go chasing rabbits…. and you know you are going to fall…..
