Fall Wedding at Cobb Hill Estate
Before we jump into the details of this gorgeous wedding, lets talk a little bit about the Cobb Hill Estate. I had been to this venue once before. It was as a guest at a wedding a few years ago however, I had forgotten the beauty of this venue. Cobb Hill Estate is a perfectly quaint New England wedding venue.
First of all it has the cutest carriage house for ease of bridal party prepping and gathering. Secondly, the grounds of this venue have everything you could need on a wedding day. White tent for reception or rain day back up. A fire pit for a cozy gathering place after a ceremony and the cutest little sunset cabin for the happy couple. Lastly, but certainly not lease, are the views. A spectacular view of Mt. Monadnock in the distance makes this venue home to the perfect ceremony site. Jacqui and Lindsey had a stellar fall day in which to vow their love and devotion to one another. Not a cloud in the sky. Furthermore making this a great kickoff to the fall wedding season!
Jacqui & Lindsey
As you may remember from their sunrise engagement session, these two are quite possibly the cutest thing ever. They seem to compliment each quite nicely, because as Jacqui puts it, “we are continually falling in love with each other”. Jacqui and Lindsey share a bond that is strong. Their story began with a trip to South Carolina. Jacqui planned the trip and took Lindsey up to Caesars Head State Park lookout with some close family members.
Cooper their dogs is a pretty important part of their family, he certainly played an important role in the proposal! Jacqui had made him a custom dog tag. One side said “will you” and on the other side subsequently said “marry me”. Lindsey strolled ahead, Jacqui changed over the collars and met her at the outlook and the rest is history. Most noteworthy, as I had hoped, Cooper was there on their wedding day, bowtie and all!
A First Look
While this may not have been the traditional ‘first look’ that comes to mind, it was still one that got me right in the feels. Lindsay did a first look with her father. Lindsey shared a cozy moment atop the landing in the carriage house of Cobb Hill Estate with just a few onlookers. Certainly a beautiful moment for both of them.
Meet The Parkers
Jacqui and Lindsey shared their first kiss as a married couple and a walk down the aisle hand in hand. Possibly the sweetest moment of the day. There were so many smiles, laughs and a few happy tears. Above all, the day was full of overwhelming joy!
A Perfect Fall Sunset
Finally, the sunsets up at Cobb Hill Estate are absolutely to die for. On this particular evening it was the most beautiful orange/red. The Weather was perfect and Jacqui and Lindsay were celebrated in style. Jacqui’s sister made the wedding cake from scratch. It was made with love, that is for certain. The love between Jacqui and Lindsay is palpable and I know they will build a life that supports one another and brings each others dreams to fruition. I wish them years of happiness and a life full of love. The magic created on this first day of September, 2018 will be remembered for years to come. I hope you share these wonderful moments and stories with generations that follow. Happy Wedding day to you both.
